I’ve been on the hunt for a concrete pot centerpiece for my kitchen table after I spotted the prettiest brushed charcoal vase from McGee and Co. The problem with that one was the fact that it was $250, and well beyond what I wanted to spend on a vase. Why do I have to be so cheap..LOL?? My initial thought was to find a pretty pot that looked similar and spray paint it and add the mud treatment to it…..BUT that all changed yesterday while out shopping at Old Time Pottery. I lucked up and found one that looked almost identical for only $20. Can you believe that? I can’t wait to show you my dupe, but first, here is an inspiration pic that I was going for.
Centerpiece Inspiration
Isn’t it so pretty? I’m pretty much obsessed with everything Studio McGee, so after seeing this pretty centerpiece, I knew I had to try to duplicate it.
Concrete Pot Centerpiece On a Budget
So, here is what mine looks like. What do you think? So similar and oh so beautiful! I couldn’t believe that it looked so much like the vase and for only $20!
My favorite part was how it was already weathered. It had that aged look that I was going for and the shape of it was just perfect.
I put it in the center of my kitchen table and added a pretty pothos plant to it. I love how the color brings together all of my black accents and adds a dramatic touch to my table.
So, what do you think? It looks so similar to my inspiration pot, and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks on my table. This concrete pot centerpiece was exactly what this space needed, and the fact that I found it so cheap makes me love it even more!

Girl you did a fantastic job!!! & $250 for a pot!! Yikes!! Yours looks identical to the pricey one & I think prettier because of the worn spots. I luv old time pottery!!! Hope you & your family stay safe. So glad to hear school opened back up there. Here in Alabama ours starts this week. Have a Blessed day!!
