Green Joybird Sofas- Living Room Reveal

Do you have that one room in your house that you just can’t get just right? For me, that room was my living room. We have lived in our home for 10 years and this room has always bugged me. I knew step 1 was to get some larger sofas so after redoing my media room using Joybird’s beautiful sofas, I knew that is what the room was missing. I teamed up with Joybird on my living room and went with a completely different look. The neutral tones went out the window (for the most part) and Joybird challenged me to use a mix of colors and patterns to go with my neutral foundation. Today, I will be sharing how my new Joybird green sofas in my living room and the full makeover reveal. I cannot love it anymore, and I hope you do too!

Living Room Reveal

Here is my living room reveal!! Not only is it a completely different look, but I also simplified the decor and furniture. Let’s begin with the star of the show. These green sofas might just be the prettiest piece of furniture I have ever seen. I went with Joybird’s Wilder Sectional and Sofa in the color Faithful Olive. It is such a beautiful green! I’d even venture to say it’s the perfect green!

It’s so large and spacious which is exactly what I was wanting. I was a little worried about how soft it would be but it has exceeded my expectations. My family is so in love with how comfortable it is and the best part is that we can all fit on them. One bonus about this sectional is that it is a sleeper sofa as well. So when we have guests over, we have a bed ready for go.

I added a large piece of art from Anthropologie to the large wall in my living room and absolutely love how beautiful it paired with the green fabric. I knew it needed to be oversized to fit the large scale of the sofa. For the price, it is such a great piece of wall decor and even prettier in person.

Like I mentioned earlier, my goal was to add some patterns along with color and knew these curtains from Pottery Barn would be perfect. They come in a few colors but I chose a blue/green pattern and love them so much. They were a bit of a splurge but totally worth it!

Checkered Rug Details

I knew that my living room makeover had to include this beautiful checkered jute rug. This rug is from Boutique Rugs and it’s called the Ionut Checkered Jute Rug . It is such a versatile pattern, and I love the natural jute element that it adds to the space.

One spot in my living room that always bothered me was an empty space in front of our French doors. It always felt like it needed something there. We hardly ever use these doors because we have 2 other sets of doors that lead out to our pool area, so I decided to take a chance and order a chair for this space. Literally… BEST DECISION EVER! I love the look and this chair is amazing.

This chair is also from Joybird and is called the Amelia Grand Chair in the color Caspiar Ivory. It is already one of the most used spots. It large, beautiful, and oh so cozy!! I highly recommend this chair! 10/10 for sure!

I added a pole lamp and green ottoman so now this cozy space is perfect for morning coffee, getting some work done, or a reading nook.

To finish off the room refresh, I knew the console table behind the sofas needed a new look. I found these Slate Table Lamps at Joybird and fell in love with them. They added a modern and sleek look to this space.

I have officially fell back in love with this room. My Joybird sofas are more than just a piece of furniture; they are a statement of style and comfort.
