School started back for my kids last weeks and getting my house clean, organized, and back on track has been the goal. One of my favorite things to do during this time is give spaces in my home small refreshes for the new school year. My favorite way to make a space feel new and fresh is with an area rug and bonus if it’s washable! I found two new rugs from Boutique Rugs to add to my master bedroom and bonus room. They are colorful and gorgeous, and I absolutely love how they transformed these two spaces in my home. Today, I will be sharing all the details on this rug renewal with you along with each new look!
Margaret Damask Navy Washable Area Rug
My master bedroom got a fresh look, and I am so in love with the darker colors in this rug. It’s called the Margaret Damask Navy Washable Area Rug from the Becki Owens Collection. Although the overall color is technically navy, this rug blends in so nicely with my charcoal headboard.
It has a blend of so many beautiful colors. They include taupe, black, charcoal, gray, blue, salmon/peach. The colors and pattern are also muted in certain spots which gives it a vintage look. Since I use a lot of neutrals in this space, it all works together so nicely.
This rug grounds the space in my room so nicely and as I mentioned earlier, it’s washable! That comes in handy since my kids and dog spend a lot of time in here. It’s also a high traffic area so having an option to wash it will make this rug last a lot longer.
I love how this rug looks in my bedroom. It’s absolutely stunning and the quality is top notch! You can check out more details HERE and don’t forget to use my code NEST25 for 25% off (valid for 4 days only).
Rainier Damask Green Washable Rug
At the beginning of this year, I gave my bonus room a makeover. I knew I wanted to keep all the same colors, so when I spotted this gorgeous green washable rug, I knew it was the one! It is called Rainier 2304 Damask Green Washable Rug. This is one of those rugs that is so much prettier in person.
The main pops of color that I used in this space was green so I loved how many tones of green this rug had. The colors include a blend of greens, browns, and tans. It also has a beautiful ornate pattern that give it a classic look. Although this rug is colorful, the colors are also muted which gives it a neutral look as well.
I recently added this brown velvet ottoman and love how well it matches the rug along with all of my decor.
This rug is also washable so no worries about a drink or food getting spilled on it during our movie nights. It’s versatile, gorgeous, soft, and so perfect for this space.
